Good to know

The completely updated two story house, two car garage, and fenced backyard are all yours to enjoy! The main level consists of a completely renovated kitchen with everything you need, including a Vitamix blender, microwave, toaster, instant pot, drip/ K cup coffee maker, French press, kettle, and moka expresso maker (in addition to the usual large appliances). The dining room's comfy upholstered dining chairs will invite you to slow down and enjoy! Whether you prefer watching some tv in the living room or playing games in the sunroom, multiple living areas gives groups space they need to spread out. In the warmer months, you'll love relaxing in the private, 100% fenced back yard, complete with a patio/ grill/ seating, and sand pit for the kids (furnished May-October). When the day is done, the upstairs bedrooms will encourage you to unwind. There are three bedrooms, each with their own clean closet, full length mirror, sumptuous bedding, and blackout curtains/shades. Bedrooms 1 & 2 have king beds as well as desks for remote workers. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and a trundle twin bed that can be set up if needed. There is a lovely private bonus room with a comfy sofa and TV off of bedroom 3 (with blackout curtains - the perfect movie spot!). The full bathroom upstairs is conveniently located between all of the bedrooms and is stocked with boutique soaps, shampoo and conditioner. If you need to do some laundry during your trip, we have you covered! We added in a brand new washer and dryer upstairs (in bedroom 1)! We also have an iron/ board/ steamer, and extra cleaning supplies should you need them. As mentioned, there is a two car garage that we welcome you to use (a must in Minnesota winters if you don't want to spend 10 minutes scraping your car!). To note: We stock the kitchen with k cups, tea, a variety of sweeteners, oil, salt, pepper, spices and jelly. We provide your choice of (2) breakfast items to start you off as well! 1. yogurt or yogurt drinks 2. bagels (plain) or muffins (typically chocolate or blueberry available) 3. eggs & bread for toast 4. cheerios or honey nut cheerios and dairy milk 5. fresh seasonal fruit (typically apples, bananas, strawberries & oranges are always good, but if you let me know your favorites I'll pick those up if they are available!)

Other Details to Note

This charming historic craftsman was built in the 1910's and has undergone extensive renovation, but it is not new! Please expect "old building" things like squeaky or sloped floors. Note that the water may have a yellow tint briefly if not used for some time (not harmful), but it quickly flushes out within seconds. If you prefer, there is filtered water in the fridge. Also note, we have the occasional ladybug or boxelder bug in the house. These are super common in MN and are not harmful, but if you absolutely hate bugs, this is something to consider. Lastly, the house is fairly close to the airport, and as such, will have plane noise at times. There are sound machines available if you are sensitive to noise.

Amber’s place is amazing! Spacious, clean, and stocked with all the amenities for a great stay. Walkable to excellent restaurants, coffee, and the beautiful lakes of Minneapolis. We loved the spacious bedrooms, and the house has multiple spaces to sit and enjoy the surroundings both in front and back of the house. We really appreciated the ability to park in the garage. Would love to stay next time we are in Minneapolis and definitely recommend to anyone considering a place in Minneapolis. Amber is proactive in thinking of the needs of her guests and really made us feel at home.

This was one of the best air bnb stays we have had! There was so much for my toddler to play with and it was so nice having all the supplies we needed for a little kid. Beautiful house and beautiful location!

My family (my husband and our 1 year-old and 3 year-old) had a great long weekend stay here visiting nearby family. The idea of recreating home when away from home is always daunting to me (especially with wiggly toddlers who need safe spaces) but we got cozy right away in this beautiful home. Really appreciated all of the toys, bath toys, baby gates, crib, and high chair. The fact that it is right across the street from a lovely park and playground is unmatched. Would love to come back! Also the kitchen is so gorgeous I came home and rearranged mine to be similar 😂

If you’re considering Amber’s place, it’s a must book! The location was incredible, a stones throw from a massive park (playgrounds, soccer field, baseball, tennis), walkable to many restaurants, shops, public library, and of course Lake Harriet. 15 mins from airport, downtown, MOA, como zoo, the location truly can’t be beat. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with so much character - we loved our daily walks. Amber also thought of everything a family would need, from high chair to stroller to toys and toddler plates/spoons/forks, and toddler gates, we felt right at home — and that’s hard to do when traveling with kids. Another thing we loved, it had everything you’d need to cook (and more). There were thoughtful touches everywhere in the house and the backyard was the perfect size. A truly unforgettable week in my now favorite Airbnb. The only thing missing: her pictures don’t do the place justice!

This is the best AirBnB I’ve stayed in! I brought my young family and it was perfect for us. It was incredibly family friendly without being kid-centric. Everything I needed as there if I wanted it, but it wasn’t cluttered with kid stuff. Amber’s communication was excellent and i would absolutely stay here again!

We had the most wonderful stay at Amber’s home in Linden Hills. The location was top tier for young kids — there were tons of books and toys, so we felt right at home. The home is beautifully renovated and everything was amazing!
