Other Details to Note

This charming historic craftsman was built in the 1910's and has undergone extensive renovation, but it is not new! Please expect "old building" things like squeaky or sloped floors. Note that the water may have a yellow tint briefly if not used for some time (not harmful), but it quickly flushes out within seconds. If you prefer, there is filtered water in the fridge. Also note, we have the occasional ladybug or boxelder bug in the house. These are super common in MN and are not harmful, but if you absolutely hate bugs, this is something to consider. Lastly, the house is fairly close to the airport, and as such, will have plane noise at times. There are sound machines available if you are sensitive to noise.

This home was perfect for our stay. Amber is a wonderful host, the home is clean and welcoming, and the kitchen is so nicely stocked with some snacks, water, coffee/tea, spices, storage containers/baggies, etc. Things you often don't find waiting for you when you arrive at a property. Amber also provides a selection of fresh fruit or bakery items for a quick breakfast. We love the location, and walked to the restaurant Martina one night (highly recommend). We hope to stay here again some time when we are in Mpls! Don't hesitate to book a stay in Amber's property!

We loved our stay at Amber’s house over the holiday! She thought of absolutely everything for us — setup cribs and chairs for our baby, pulled out toys for our toddler, and had breakfast stocked so we didn’t need to run to the store right away. Amber responded quickly and helped us check-in sooner after an early travel day. The house is very clean with some historic charm. We recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about this stay. This is the most thoughtful and well stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. So family friendly and accommodating. Amber is the definition of “super host”. The neighborhood is lovely. Everything in the house is high quality and well maintained. We will totally be booking again when we visit family in the cities.

This is probably one of the best Airbnb stays that I’ve had! Amber was so accommodating and very communicative throughout the entire stay. The house felt like home and my whole family was raving about how lucky we were to find this place. The design and furniture was top-quality, and every drawer from the kitchen to the bathroom was stocked with utensils and items like the owners actually lived there. There wasn’t something that was missed. Amber also provided some breakfast items and snacks, which was so appreciated! My sister also loved the fact that there were endless toys for her son to play with. Linden Hills is one of our favorite areas in the city - so close to the lakes and charming neighborhood restaurants and shops. Anyone visiting Minneapolis, or just having a stay-cation, I would highly recommend this place! Such a wonderful stay and will definitely be booking again!
